Subscription plans

Cancel future renewals at any time. Access normally continues until the paid period ends.

Refund eligibility depends on whether work has started and what has already been delivered.

Advertising spend, payment fees and external provider charges are generally non-refundable.

Billing support

Contact Weblatis promptly with the invoice, account and reason for the request.

Plain-language summary

Payments made directly to Weblatis are reviewed according to the type of purchase and the work already completed. Subscription renewals can be cancelled for the future, while completed setup work, advertising spend and third-party charges are usually not refundable. Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.

01

Scope of this policy

This policy applies to payments collected directly by Weblatis LLC for Weblatis subscriptions, paid Business Page features, setup services, digital marketing services, account add-ons and other purchases that expressly link to this policy.

It does not govern payments made directly to an independent local business discovered through Weblatis. Those businesses set and administer their own cancellation and refund rules.

When a separate signed agreement, order form or campaign approval contains different refund terms, that document will apply to the specific service covered by it.
02

Subscription cancellations and renewals

Paid subscriptions renew for the billing period shown at checkout unless cancelled before the next renewal date. You may cancel future renewal through the available account controls or by contacting Weblatis support.

  • Cancellation stops the next automatic renewal; it does not normally reverse a charge for a billing period that has already started.
  • After cancellation, paid access normally remains available until the end of the current paid period.
  • Unused days, unused leads, unused listing features or a decision not to use the service do not automatically create a refund entitlement.
  • Deleting a business listing or closing an account does not by itself cancel an active paid subscription.
03

First subscription purchase review

A customer may ask Weblatis to review the first paid subscription charge within 14 calendar days of purchase when the paid service is materially different from what was presented, cannot be accessed because of a Weblatis issue, or was purchased by mistake and has not been materially used.

Request window

Submit the request within 14 calendar days of the first paid subscription charge.

Usage review

We may review account activity, delivered features, leads, setup work and support history.

Renewals

Renewal charges are not covered by the first-purchase review unless there was a billing error.

Mandatory rights

Any non-excludable consumer rights continue to apply regardless of this review process.

Approval is not automatic. Weblatis may offer a full refund, partial refund, service credit, correction, extension or other reasonable resolution depending on the circumstances.

04

Setup, design and managed services

One-time setup, onboarding, listing preparation, website work, content work, campaign configuration and managed services involve reserved time and labour. Refund eligibility therefore depends on the stage of delivery.

Service stageTypical treatmentExamples
Before work startsA full or near-full refund may be available, less unavoidable transaction or third-party costs. No onboarding, setup, design, research or campaign work has started.
Work startedA partial refund may be considered after deducting completed work and committed costs.Account setup, content preparation, design, configuration or consultation has begun.
Work deliveredGenerally non-refundable, except where the deliverable is materially defective and Weblatis cannot reasonably correct it.Approved setup, published page, completed configuration, delivered design or completed service period.

Client delays, missing materials, changed preferences or failure to use a completed deliverable do not normally make completed work refundable.

05

Advertising budgets and external costs

Advertising spend paid to Google, Meta, Microsoft or another advertising platform is not refundable by Weblatis after it has been spent or committed. The same applies to domain fees, marketplace fees, software licences, payment processing costs and other third-party charges incurred for the customer.

  • Unspent advertising budget still held by Weblatis may be returned or credited after reconciliation.
  • Campaign management fees are treated according to the work completed during the applicable service period.
  • Results such as leads, sales, rankings, impressions or conversion rates are not guaranteed unless a written agreement expressly states otherwise.
06

Bookings and purchases from local businesses

Weblatis helps users discover and contact independent local businesses. Unless Weblatis is expressly identified as the seller, Weblatis is not the merchant for the local business’s service, appointment, rental, tour, product or booking.

Refund requests for those transactions must be submitted to the relevant business or payment provider under that business’s own terms. Weblatis may provide contact or platform support but cannot promise or issue a refund on behalf of an independent business.

07

When a refund may be approved

Depending on the facts and any applicable legal rights, Weblatis may approve a full or partial refund where:

  • A duplicate charge or clear billing error occurred.
  • An unauthorized charge is verified after a reasonable account and security review.
  • Weblatis could not provide the paid service because of a material issue within its control.
  • A cancellation request was received before work began or before a committed cost was incurred.
  • A first subscription purchase qualifies for review under Section 3.
  • A refund is required by applicable law or expressly required by a written agreement.
08

Charges that are generally non-refundable

  • Subscription time already provided, including partial billing periods after cancellation.
  • Completed setup, design, onboarding, consultation, campaign or account-management work.
  • Advertising spend, marketplace fees, domain fees, payment processing fees and other third-party costs.
  • Services affected by inaccurate instructions, missing approvals, delayed content or other customer-controlled issues.
  • Unused features, unused leads or a change of mind after the applicable review period.
  • Accounts restricted or terminated for fraud, misuse, prohibited conduct or a material breach of Weblatis terms.
A charge described as generally non-refundable may still be refunded where required by law or where Weblatis decides that an exception is fair and appropriate.
09

How to request a refund

Submit the request through the Weblatis Contact page as soon as possible. Include enough information for us to locate and evaluate the payment.

  • Account holder or business name.
  • Email address associated with the account.
  • Invoice, receipt or transaction reference.
  • Payment date and amount.
  • Reason for the request and any supporting screenshots or documents.

We may ask for additional information or identity verification. Do not send a full payment-card number, banking password or other unnecessary sensitive credentials.

10

Review and processing time

Weblatis aims to acknowledge a complete refund request within 3 business days and to communicate a decision within 10 business days. Complex cases, third-party reconciliation, suspected fraud or missing information may require more time.

Approved refunds are normally issued to the original payment method. After Weblatis issues the refund, the bank or payment provider may take an additional 5 to 10 business days, or longer in some cases, to display the credit.

Currency conversion differences, international bank charges and exchange-rate changes are controlled by financial institutions and may cause the credited amount to differ from the original local-currency amount.

11

Payment disputes and chargebacks

Please contact Weblatis before starting a chargeback so we can investigate duplicate charges, cancellation records, service delivery or account access. This often resolves billing issues faster.

Submitting a knowingly false chargeback, withholding relevant information or continuing to use a service while disputing the charge may lead to account restriction and recovery of legitimate costs, subject to applicable law.

12

Changes to this policy

Weblatis may update this Refund Policy as products, billing methods, services or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of the page identifies the current version.

The policy in effect when the relevant purchase was made will generally govern that purchase, unless a later change is required by law or provides a more favourable outcome.
